Well... I've had Hal's old Yeon-Ho head up for sale at DoA for at least a week. Didn't expect to sell him quickly, but yeah. Got two responses... one said that they'd consider buying it depending on how low I'd drop the price because the head is on year old and my asking price is the same as a brand new one without the cost of shipping.

Well... okay... Sure the head is one year old, but there is no damage to him and no yellowing.... @______@
I'm not desperate to sell him, so I responded accordingly.

The second one I got... well.... it speaks for itself...

Beaded doughnuts (however adorable they may be), strawberries, and dresses are considered an equivalent trade for a resin head? But.... "keep him company and to be friends with" is a bit much to me. I mean... I do have some emotional attachment to my dolls, but it's the personalities that I'm attached to... not the vessel itself.

Sure I want to sell the head so I can buy an Elfdoll Lydia head for another project... but seriously.... I'm not THAT desperate to get rid of it. O_____o

Um... yeah. I don't know why I even bother to make a spending budget for Fanime. I break it every year. XD



Opening ceremony with all the Taiko drummers! For the previous years I went to Fanime, I always missed this. Don't know why, but this is the first time I actually caught part of it! (I secretly still want to be a Taiko drummer one day...)

I found it amusing, considering I just took two random syllables and stuck them together.

I don't think Johann is going to work out as a character, considering how far Halschaeon deviated from the original characteristics I came up for him. He is simply not a daddy-type character anymore, so Johann won't be happening. D=

Might have an idea for another character that'll use an Obitsu body. Maybe a Haruka boy? Once Easter is done with, I'm definitely going to buy a 60cm to convert to a boy. Waiting too long seems to cause too much change to the characters I come up with.

While waiting for the light rail, I got this random idea that it'd be cool to make a ball-jointed doll with multiple arms, kind of like one of those gods (can't quite remember which one, but Shiva comes into mind for some reason). I wonder how that could work?

Then... maybe this doll would have a snake body? It was an odd idea, but I think it'd be cool to make. I'd hate to imagine how it'll be able to stand, with the snake body and all the extra weight from the extra arms (maybe six arms total?).

*sighs*

Adding that to the growing list of "Things to do during the summer". =D

It's probably not too soon to plan for things to do during the summer (besides being bored to death after the first week is over =P), so....

I think it'd be fun if I buy a few blocks of LaDoll Premix and try my hand at sculpting dolls (after Takoko, of course). One of my plans was to buy an Angell-Studio Hua Xi head for a larger version of Shierrohondyl, buuuut... Shierrohondyl's supposed to have an evil grin (lips slightly, just slightly parted). Maybe I'd be better off sculpting him myself? I dunno... might be worth trying though.

And when I am done with that... I'm gonna try and make a small ball-jointed dragon!

Yeah... those are some lofty goals, considering I usually don't follow through with every plan I make. =/

Here's to hoping I achieve these goals! ^^

It's been a long while since I last saw those two Clorox commercials with the awesome background music. One had the boy imagining he was a pirate and there were fish swimming in the sky with the ships... awesome....

But I suddenly remembered them today while trying to figure out the music in one of the new Geico commercials... "Somebody's Watching Me". Oddly, it did help me that my dad was mumbling a part of the song earlier this week. O_o

Turns out iTunes sells the two songs, and the money from the purchases supports music programs in schools, so... I bought them. ^_^

Every time I look through my whole iTunes library, I always see that I have more soundtrack/background music than the other stuff (Rock/Country/Japanese Rock and Pop/etc). The American Rock are all from my brother. lol After all these years... I still love instrumental music. XD

I kind of realized that I've filled my iPod nearly halfway now. Never thought I'd make it that far! Guess I'll have to choose the songs I put in more carefully... X3

I'm not much into religion and all, but since I am forced to participate with my family, I might as well make the best out of the situation. ^^

Last year, I went 40 days without candy of any form, including breath mints and chewing gum. Breath mints because I actually ate them like candy. XD

This year, I discovered that I have a horrible habit of online shopping, so.... yep.... 40 days of no online shopping!

So that means I won't be getting those cute little Soom monthly dolls. Which might be a good thing, since if I do, Shierrohondyl will stab my eyes out while I'm asleep. He wants to be bigger so Halschaeon won't treat him like a little kid all the time. =P

Well... it began with lovelovekitty's Kaede asked Shierrohondyl if he was going to grow up like his half-brother... now Shierrohondyl wants to have a big form too! DX

Then... I had this great idea for a story with the big guys.... except.... I'll need more dolls for other characters... And here I thought I wouldn't go beyond three large dolls! D=

Seeing that I'm definitely not going to have enough time during the semester to attempt sculpting Takoko, that project will have to wait until summer... thus, pushing the Kerrigan project back too. Maybe if the Takoko sculpting goes well, I should sculpt Kerrigan from scratch too... hmmm....

Or maybe I should sculpt all those characters for the story too... since I'm not going to babysit my demonic cousins this summer. And a few of those characters are genderless... so maybe I'll stick them onto Obitsu bodies!~ =3

Aside from the aches, nausea, loss of appetite, fever, chills, and sore throat... the flu isn't all that bad. XD

Two mornings in a row, I woke up with unbearable aches and a terrible headache. Fortunately, I think I'm getting over it pretty fast, considering that I only started seeing symptoms show up about two days ago. Might be the combination of a flu shot and getting the flu for the second time within a month. Kind of sucks that today happens to be the day that I have three classes that I had to miss, but it's a little pointless to run off to class when I could be throwing up at any given moment and having a fever really makes it hard for concentration to happen. Not fun at all. ^^;;

At least I got to sleep for most of the day (the only time I didn't feel nauseated) and cuddle my dolls.

Oh... and the epsom salt bath soak was pretty nice too. Not sure if it did any good, but it felt great! =3

So... chills, long gone. Fever broke this morning (never before did I find sweating a welcome thing XD). Nose slightly congested, but bearable. Throat's a little raspy, but I think I can deal with that.

On a side note, I finally figured out how to work the timer on my parent's camera!

I've been quite behind on the readings, but I think I'm managing alright... despite forgetting to write a paper on pseudoscience for my bio class. DX

Fortunately, I somehow managed to type up the essay in about 4 hours. It almost seemed like a miracle because one of my sources' site stopped working on me. Which is pretty strange, considering that it worked several hours earlier. Now, I just get "Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)". Hmm... that vitamin C supplement company must be onto me and my paper!

Oh... found out that my mom likes making clothes for the two boys more than the itty bitty Residents. The only thing she hates about my ball-jointed boys are... well... their ball joints! She finds them harder to move around and whatnot. But they both stand pretty solid, so it's all good. ^^

Need to do my taxes still....
Need to apply for financial aid before March 1 (though it's likely I won't get a thing... again)
The testing people screwed up somehow and I don't have my admission ticket thingie, so I have to give them a call...
One German literature analysis paper to write...
One Bio paper to write....

With all that stuff to do... there's no time to spend with my dolls. *sad Resu*

My mom finally stopped complaining about my big boys!

She was surprised to discover that I decided to buy two bodies instead of one, despite my constant chirping that "they are coming soon" while running all over the house. Mind you, I let her know waaaaay in advance... like by two months. DX

My dad was surprised to discover that I had TWO resin heads and not ONE, despite the fact that I had them both openly displayed on my dresser. *face palm*

Well... my mom made Halschaeon a pair of camouflage pants. And her comment was "It's much easier to sew for the bigger guys."

This means her complaints about how much they cost will drastically lessen! ^______________^

Halschaeon lay claim to all candies within his reach. I think I'm beginning to have a favorite among the two... Halschaeon is just so damn cuddly!
